Lochnell Arms Hotel

This hotel is excellent with a magnificent view from our room window. The breakfast was very good and we also had dinner at the hotel which was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the shower- it was too small.

Very nice place quiet and very comfortable room. Very beautiful and unusual wallpaper in my room. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Hurt my ankle very bad while I was there (totally my fault) and they couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. Highly recommend. Beautiful views over Loch from dinning room

Genuinely had the loveliest time here. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed (including shampoo, conditioner and body wash which is becoming harder to find in hotels). It was so cozy, the location was quiet, they were entirely dog friendly which made everything very easy. There was a nice small trail to a beach nearby and the views were stunning. All the staff were incredible. I can’t wait to come back!

Stopped here after our NC 500 tour, this isnt on the route but still nice area to visit. Hotel was a good price and is very cosy. Staff were friendly and we even had a call to say what tine food would finish as were we having a late check in. Shower was a little on the small side though so larger people might struggle. View from breakfast was nice and ataff again were friendly. There is a bar on site open until late. Plenty of parking and dog friendly.

Nice wee hotel on the banks of Loch Etive, our room was small but functional, decor was in nice condition, beds were in need of replacing as the springs were saggy and not supportive resulting in waking with a sore back in the morning, room and bathroom were clean. There's the usual noise of people coming and going from the corridor but overall no disturbance late at night. Food at the restaurant in the evening was good and well cooked and not overly expensive, the two girls on duty were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was disappointing with no hot option except quick oats which as a diabetic I cannot have due to the amount of sugar in it, fresh fruit, toast, pastries, small cubes of cheddar, a couple of strips of prosciutto and some garlic sausage, 3 cereals, fruit juice and tea and coffee. Overall for the price it was satisfactory and the location is beautiful.

We had to book this hotel on short notice, and it turned out to be a truly pleasant surprise. The hospitality was exceptional — the staff was courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location is excellent, easily accessible and well connected, which made everything so convenient. What stood out the most was the traditional breakfast — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and care. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The young woman who welcomed us to to hotel was very professional and friendly. We were served at dinner by an equally brilliant young man. Our meal was lovely; steak pie a particular highlight. Our son ate from the kids menu, and the quality was very good (always a risk when ordering chicken nuggets that they are super processed, but these were breast of chicken pieces). The room was spacious and clean with beautiful views. The continental breakfast was great, with a very reasonably priced cooked breakfast menu. We have to admit our expectations were low as it was a last minute booking with limited choice in the area, but we were pleasantly surprised! I hope our thanks can be passed to the staff in particular, can’t fault your service!

Met up with friends for the night as halfway between where we both live. We all enjoyed our evening there and as each of us have dogs this place was ideal. Staff were very friendly and gave us a great service. Evening meal and breakfast was very good and the location and view from the hotel is perfect. Very good value and we all will be back.
